I am campaigning for Breckland youth council and if you are between the ages of 11 and 17 and you live in Breckland or go to school in Breckland YOU can vote for me.
If I became a member of the council my main target would be stopping teenager discrimination for example mosquitos outside people's houses which let of a high pitched squeal which only teenagers can hear I will also try to get more places so teen agers can have fun e.g skate parks.
Also I would fight for your rights and I wouldn't change them when under pressure, I will work into my own hours to represent your views and I know what its like to be a teenager.

My name is Matthew.
I will try and create more local leisure facilities specifically for young people as we actually have nothing to do apart from video games and meeting with our friends and the only place possible may be the street corners so if we were given areas to play and socialize then we wouldn’t have to meet on the street corners.
If I were elected my main focus would be fighting against teenage discrimination like the mosquito box, this device makes a high pitched squealing noise when people are sensed nearby but only young people can hear it. This is not right. The children’s commissioner has said “These devices are indiscriminate and target all children and young people, including babies, regardless of whether they are behaving or misbehaving. The use of measures such as these are simply demonising children and young people, creating a dangerous and widening divide between the young and the old.” Also the director of Liberty a human rights group said “What type of society uses a low-level sonic weapon on its children? Imagine the outcry if a device was introduced that caused blanket discomfort to people of one race or gender, rather than to our kids," I think these should be banned and if you voted for me I will try and stop these.
I think all types of discrimination are unfair but most are illegal like racism but what’s the difference between this and racism, people are picking on us just because of our age for example whilst at scouts I was helping the community by posting leaflets about recycling and paying for camps but we were almost stopped by all the mosquitoes boxes.
I have lots of experience as I have been in the school council at my High school and my primary school several times.
